Windrow Shift does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data. The game is fully playable offline and never makes a network request. Everything the app remembers about your season lives only on your own device.
What stays on your device
- Season progress — your storms, routes, night reports, budget, upgrades, pinned nights, achievements and streak, saved as a file in the app's private storage.
- Settings — sound, music, haptics, appearance, map style and units, saved with the system's standard app-preferences storage.
- A truck decal photo, only if you choose to add one (see below).
None of this is ever uploaded anywhere. Deleting the app deletes all of it.
Photo library and camera
Windrow Shift lets you personalise a plow truck with a door decal. If you choose "Choose a photo," the system photo picker opens — this does not give the app access to your library, only to the single image you pick. If you choose "Take a photo," the camera opens for that purpose only. The resulting image is cropped and stored in the app's own storage on your device. It is never uploaded, analysed or shared with anyone, including us.
Notifications
If you turn them on, Windrow Shift schedules local notifications — for example, when the next storm arrives on the calendar, or a reminder about your play streak. These notifications are generated and delivered entirely on your device by iOS itself. No notification service or remote server is involved, and no data about you leaves your device to make this work.
What we don't do
- No account creation or sign-in of any kind.
- No analytics, crash reporting or advertising SDKs.
- No location data.
- No contacts, health, or financial data.
- No cookies, because there is nothing to browse — the app has no web content.
- No sharing of information with third parties, because none is collected in the first place.
Children's privacy
Windrow Shift is suitable for a general audience and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children. Because the app collects no personal data at all, there is nothing that could be gathered from a child or any other player.
Changes to this policy
If the app's data practices ever change, this page will be updated before the change ships, and the "last updated" date below will reflect it.
